Why Kimono

We chose the name Kimono because we hope to bring that same respect for beauty, detail and heritage to Japanese tea.

The Founders
A quiet beginning.
Kimono Tea grew out of a longstanding appreciation for Japanese culture and tea — the kind that begins with a single bowl of matcha and slowly becomes a habit.
The founders wanted to create a ready-to-drink beverage that preserved some of the elegance, simplicity and thoughtfulness of Japanese tea while making it practical for modern life.
